Welcome.
“Journalism can never be silent: that is its greatest virtue and its greatest fault. It must speak, and speak immediately, while the echoes of wonder, the claims of triumph and the signs of horror are still in the air.”
- Henry Grunwald
I am a sophomore journalism student in the Diederich College of Communication at Marquette University, with a second major in political science.
Writing as a journalist is a very important responsibility to me, and one that I am looking forward to learning more about every single day.
Hence, this blog. As I evaluate how stories are covered by news organizations and learn how they use multimedia to report it, I hope to take that knowledge and use it to enhance my own writing skills, and use this blog to showcase my writing.
